The Four Seasons Hotel is located on the famed Rajadamri Road has to be at the top of my list in terms of all-round luxury. From the hotel’s magnificent lobby, with the exquisite and beautifully hand-painted silk ceiling, to the largest and most impressive lap pool in Bangkok.

All rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. The hotel has the highest staff-to-guest ratio in the city and the staff’s attention to detail is world-class.

Be sure to pamper yourself at the hotel’s wonderful state-of-the-art spa.

Pros: Great location ~ close to many cultural sites and shopping malls.

The Peninsula Hotel

The Peninsula Hotel is a luxurious riverside hotel situated on the Chao Phraya River. With the hotel’s reputation for superb service and attention to detail, this 37 story hotel has established itself as one of the finest in the city.

Enjoy panoramic views of Bangkok from any one of the luxurious guest suites. Facilities include an impressive fitness centre with a gymnasium, sauna, spa and steam rooms.

The hotel is within easy access to business and shopping districts as well as many other exciting tourist attractions.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel  ~ A Hollywood Favorite

Mandarin Oriental Hotel rests on the banks of the Chao Phraya river and is as rich in history as it is in contemporary luxury. It has been the most famous hotel in Bangkok for more than a century.

Here Hollywood celebrities like Charlie Chaplin, Rita Hayworth and the likes have graced their doors. The Oriental is filled with their stories and I am sure we would all like to hear some of them.

Style: The hotel is a classical case of the west meets the east.

Fun Fact: Each of the 393 rooms has their own butler assigned to them!

The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel 

Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Bangkok’s commercial, shopping and entertainment district. Situated close to all public transport including the BST Sky Train at Nana Station, which is only about a two minute walk away.

The extra large rooms have all the state-of-the-art facilities. Apart from the 128 luxurious rooms, there are also 239 fully equipped one and two bedroom apartments. There are also two restaurants, two bars, a fitness centre, sauna and a swimming pool.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of Bangkok’s central business and embassy district giving you easy access to all of the city’s best attractions, entertainment and shopping.

The hotel’s rooftop restaurant affords you some spectacular views over the city.

The Shangri-La Hotel is one of the largest 5-star luxury hotels in Bangkok with all 799 spacious guest rooms facing onto the Chao Phraya River.

The hotel is located right next to the BTS Sky Train Station as well as the Sathorn Pier from where you can explore many of Bangkok’s superb attractions.

Conrad Hotel

Within the Conrad Hotel the rooms and suites are extremely spacious and luxuriously fitted in a contemporary Thai style using a combination of silk and natural wood. The hotel is situated opposite the US Embassy and Lumpini Park is close by.

The Conrad is within easy walking distance to the Phloen Chit BTS Sky Train station. A shuttle bus leaves the hotel every 10 minutes and will gladly take you there if you prefer not to walk.

The Millennium Hilton towers above the banks of the Chao Phraya River giving you some amaxing views of the river and city.

For easy access, the hotel is just ten minutes from the Saphan Taksin BTS Skytrain Station. 

Spend the day visiting the Reclining Buddha at the Royal Palace or the Temple of Dawn or stroll among the colourful stalls in Chinatown. All of these sites are in close proximity to the hotel.

Alternatively, spend the night relaxing with your favourite cocktail in the award-winning entertaining pub, Zeta Bar on floor 32.

Dusit Thani Hotel

The Dusit Thani Hotel

The Dusit Thani Hotel is located in the heart of the night entertainment district of Patpong. This hotel features 517 luxuriously appointed guest rooms featuring elegant Thai design.

It’s opposite Lumphini Park with its expansive lakes and boulevards, and where you might like to take a leisurely stroll.

The BTS Skytrain and Subway System are within easy walking distance as are the major business, shopping and entertainment areas.

The Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel

The Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel is the ultimate in 5-star luxurious resort style accommodation and one of the finest Bangkok hotels. Situated right in the heart of the city’s business and commercial district near Erawan Shrine, one of the most important landmarks here.

Erawan is the name given to the three-headed mythical elephant of which two six feet, three-headed bronze elephant statues stand outside the hotel’s main entrance.

The hotel is linked via a Sky Bridge to shopping centres such as Central World, Gaysorn and Siam Paragon as well as being close to a BTS Sky Train Station.
